The Sigma Beta Club was founded in 1950 by Bro. Dr. Parlett Moore, who saw the need in our communities to better connect with our youth. Dr. Moore recognized the important role that Sigma could play in their lives.
Sigma Beta Clubs all across the country have mentored thousands of young men since 1950. Participants learn the importance of servicing others and establish lifelong friendships, as well as the enhancement of meaningful educational and professional opportunities.
Our motto is, The Next Generation of Leaders Accepting the Responsibility and Loving the Challenge. The Sigma Beta Club of Brooklyn, N.Y. was founded in 2011 with this principle in mind. Our aim is to teach male responsibility, emphasize the value of learning and bring out our members’ best talents.
We encourage the young men in your life to become a part of our club as it grows and provides opportunities to the young men of Brooklyn, NY.
