Kappa Beta Sigma Chapter-Brooklyn, NY

Kappa Beta Sigma Chapter is the home chapter to the Immediate Past National President of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Brother Peter Adams, Esq. As the New York, Brooklyn-based alumni chapter representing the brotherhood of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, we welcome you to our location on the Internet where we hope to share information that promotes our Fraternity's ideals. Chapter meetings are held every third Saturday evening, promptly at 4pm in the Nadine Lawe Lounge at Medgar Evers College, located at 1650 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, New York.

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded at Howard University in Washington, DC on January 9, 1914 by three young black male students. The founders, Honorable A. Langston Taylor, Honorable Leonard F. Morse, and Honorable Charles I. Brown wanted to organize a Greek-letter fraternity that would truly exemplify the high ideals of brotherhood, scholarship and service. Today, Phi Beta Sigma is still based on these ideals, which are further crystallized and expressed in the fraternity's motto: "Culture for Service and Service for Humanity"
