Brothers of Sigma

On this day, Men of Sigma around the world celebrate the historic Centennial anniversary of the greatest Fraternity known to man, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. By reaching this milestone, every Sigma Man should stand, be counted and be proud. Phi Beta Sigma has never been stronger. We did not reach this moment by mere circumstance, but because of our continued commitment to the principles of Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service.

100 years ago three visionaries, Most Honorable Founding Fathers A. Langston Taylor, Leonard F. Morse and Charles I. Brown decided together to embark on a journey beginning at Howard University into the unknown. Phi Beta Sigma is the name of that journey that has turned into an international band of Brothers. Time and time again, this journey has been heralded, defended and protected, but the goals and objectives have always remained constant. As Sigma Men, we are to be the beacons in the communities we serve via Education, Social Action, Bigger & Better Business and the Sigma Beta Clubs.

For every Brother who holds Phi Beta Sigma in the highest regard, the bond of Brotherhood resounds and stirs your spirit. On this day, tighten the bond of Phi Beta Sigma by calling the Brothers that pulled you into the Fraternity. On this day, the day of our Centennial celebration, no Sigma should be without Brotherhood, the greatest asset of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.
